Ben Romans has touched my heart once again

Hey guys, haven't been posting for a real long time. Now I have something to share again. The One Love has been a blog I have visited for a real long time. And it could be that I have only read Ben's, but among all the blogs I have been reading, nothing could have been more touching than his.
Ben's words were always true. People may see him as the keyboardist of TC5, the funny one among the band. But, no matter how unserious he may be. He is someone whose words always touches people. He is observant. He never misses out the cruelty he sees. As he has said, the last 36hours were the most eye-opening and emotionally challenging in his life. And I agree. It all took a trip to
the "killing fields" and prisons of the Pol Pot regime. This was about the war in Cambodia(apparently the one we read about in Clay Marble). The Band walked on skulls. Not because the wanted to, it was because they had no choice. The place was full of it.
Many people just don't know the suffering that is going on around the world. Many people do not even care. I just can't put anything into words properly. Its just not me. That is one thing I admire Ben about. He can put what he has on his mind right into words.
"I cannot make you feel what it was like to walk on human bones in the killing fields of Cambodia.

I cannot make you feel the sudden rush of shock when I was staring into thousands of human skulls. The victims of the Pol Pot regime.

I cannot make you feel the heaviness when staring at the tree where innocent babies were thrown upon, brutally taking their lives.

I cannot make you feel the relevance of the prison shackles left as they were less than thirty years ago."

He got everything right. innocent lives were taken away, just like that. I really can't say anything right now. Cause Ben just said everything that I've always wanted to say. Ben said,
"Everybody wants to be in love.
It takes forever but we're never gonna give it up.

We're healing with love.

You try so hard to hide your scars,
Always on your guard...
Don't let me go.

Hold on.

Handle Me With Care

We are fragile people.

Next time better than the first time,
Last time better than the next time,
Sunsets fade to black,
And you know...
That's just the way it goes"
"We don't need the world right now,
We've got time to work it out,
Hold on tight I'll hold on too,
Cause all I need is you"
These lyrics ...
He has sang this at almost every concert.
And it never made as much sense as it did now.

And I have been sitting here staring at Ben Romans' words for the last 15min.
Tears welled up in my eyes. Thinking: Everything he said was true. Sometimes I just feel that I have no idea what the hell is just going on in this chaotic world.
I just can't say anything right now. But when I am, I will. Cause I believe that change will come one day and it has to. If not, this would be a place that I don't want to live in. I've seen people eat like gluttons and sleep like pigs while telling people, its time to change the world, hey lets change the world. Whatever, cause what they say ain't coming true. They don't even mean it. Take my brother and his friends for example. He lives in theis world doing whatever he like, sleeping like a pig. Shouting back at people. Acting like some monster. Okay, maybe I am exaggerating. But it is true that he is still oblivious to whatever is happening around him. Maybe my I shouldn't be saying this. But my parents are the same. They tell us, you just don't know what is going on in the world, there are people much worse than you are. Then, the continue to act as if this are all none of their buisness.
I just can't help but tell people, whatever. Cause many people may say I want to change the world. But they never do it. Cause their afraid of giving up whatever the have now. But, giving up a comfortable life, money and every single thing they think is so precious to them is worth it to exchange it for happiness that they bring to themselves, when putting a smile on a person's face.
